 Tour of your life is a special event; for the new 6^th grade class! Saturday June 9th the Catalyst Leadership team will come out and play games with the new 6^th grade class. The focus of this event is to introduce the 6^th grade leaders to students, and to share/teach the new 6^th grade students what Catalyst is, believes, and our vision/goal as a Ministry. In a way it is a fun/quick “tour” of the Jr. High Ministry and what we are all about! This event is crucial in getting new students to understand the mission and purpose of Catalyst, and it is a very important day to meet the Jr. High Leaders who will be investing into their lives the next three years The cost for this event is $10...which covers lunch, ministry supplies, and other materials. Join us Friday April 13th, from 6:45-9:00pm at Pastor Josh & Elyssa Robertson's home for a Catalyst Party! We will have so much fun as we watch "The Muppets", play Ping-Pong, board games, "Just Dance", cook S'mores over a bonfire, and much much more! If you plan on coming we ask that each of you bring something with you! First...everyone Bring a friend! Second...If you are a 6th grade student bring a drink to share with everyone, if you are in 7th grade please bring a snack to share, and if you are in 8th grade please bring S'more supplies to share! You may notice the sad face in the title, and that is because we do not like NOT having Catalyst! This Sunday April 8th there will not  be Catalyst because we will be celebrating Easter in the Main Service with the rest of South Hills Community Church! Make sure to go to the Main Sanctuary and not to the Youth Hall! ALSO...Tuesday April 10th we wil not be having CORE GROUPS because of Spring Break, so remember not to come! BUT... there is some good news in all of this! The Good news is that Pastor Josh cannot go an entire week without seeing you guys so he decided to have a Catalyst party at his house Friday April 13th, from 6:45-9:00pm! We hope you can make it!

 This Next Week South Hills Community Church will be having a Good Friday Service, and a Celebratory Easter Service! Join us Friday April 6th at 7pm for our Good Friday service, and make sure to grab the entire family and come back on Sunday April 8th at 10am for our Easter Sunday Service (we may or may not have some surprises up our sleeves). Our Easter Service will be a Family service where all ages will be in the Main Service! Nursery care for Infants and preschool classes will be offered, and Easter Pamphlets with Activities and coloring sections will be offered for Elementary grade students. Catalyst will be in the main service and we are so excited to join the rest of the church for Easter Sunday! Catalyst students make sure to go to the Sanctuary and not the Youth Hall on Sunday April 8th! Interested in going to Summer Camp at Hume Lake this year? You had better get a move on and sign up, because almost half of the spots are already taken! You can sign up Sunday Mornings, Tuesday Nights, or here on the website!! A $75 deposit is due May 21st to reserve your spot for Camp (You can turn it in Earlier too), and camp is July 15-21st! This June our Amazing 8th Grade Class will be moving up into the High School Ministry of South Hills Community Church. These past three years we as a Catalyst Staff have seen the Lord do some amazing things in and through this class and we want to celebrate them and everything the Lord has done in and through these students these past three years. What better way to celebrate and have fun than going to DISNEYLAND! If you are an 8th grader and you want to join us for the Grad Trip, you need to sign up ASAP! The Grad trip will take place June 11-13th, 2012 and the cost will be $225. A Deposit of $50 is due May 1st to Reserve your spot, and Spots are limited! We are sad to see you guys move up, but we are so excited to have one last Hoorah with you! Join us March 16th for the 2nd Annual "Cheetah Chase!" Cheetah Chase is a Student Ministries wide (College. High School, Jr. High) Photo Scavenger Hunt. Students will be divided into teams, assigned a leader who will be with the team the entire night, and then given their clues. Each clue will be a hidden code of a location around town. Once the code is broken, the team must drive to that location, take a picture, and move onto the next clue. The team with the most correct pictures wins! The purpose of this event is to promote unity amongst student ministries as a whole. We want healthy relationships with other students to be established in all Ministries! If you are interested in attending this event, signing up and bringing a permission slip is required! You can sign up on Sunday Morning, Tuesday Night, or via email. General Permission Slips can be found online. We hope to see you there (cost is $5...and free for first time guests) (Time: 6-9pm at the Youth Hall)

Friday, March 2nd through March 3rd will be the culmination of our 30 Hour Famine Outreach! The famine starts at noon on Friday and will end at 6:00pm on Saturday for dinner. We will be meeting at the church on Friday night and most of Saturday for the majority of our activities. Stay tuned for further information coming soon!

Also please join us Sunday January 29th at 7pm in the Youth Hall as we discuss this event further as well as prepare our hearts for what the Lord wants to do in and through us during 30 hour famine!

January 15th Catalyst will be kicking off a brand new series. We are so excited about this series. This Series is called "Your Identity and Destiny" and will be from January 15th-May 6th, 2012. In this series  we will be discussing our value and Identity as sons and daughters of God. We will be taking it a little bit further by teaching how our Identity as sons and daughters of God will help us to determine our Destiny and how to walk in alignment with that Destiny. Make sure to check the website for updates and testimonies from this series, and please pray for this series. Pray that God will be glorified, pray that Students will know that they are valued, they have a purpose, and they are loved!
